Who we are: About ONTrac at Peter Mac

Each year in Victoria there are approximately 280 young people diagnosed with cancer aged between 15-25 years. These young people are treated across a range of different hospitals and health care facilities. The ONTrac at Peter Mac team provides a range of services to support both these young people, their families and the healthcare professionals who deliver their care.

The ONTrac at Peter Mac Victorian Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Service is a state-wide cancer Service for young people and their families located at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in East Melbourne. The team comprises Paediatric, Adolescent & Young Adult Oncologists, an Adolescent Health Physician, Nurse Consultant, Family Counsellor, Education & Vocation Advisor, Psychologist, Social Worker, Clinical Trials Officer and Research staff.

The Service provides a range of clinical service for young people, a state-wide secondary consultation service, a professional development, training & education program for healthcare professionals and a comprehensive research program.
